Haymakers for Hope: Hope NYC IX
November 18 @ 7:30 pm PST
Haymakers for Hope is a 501(c)(3) charity organization that gives you the opportunity to fight back against cancer. In 2009, founders Andrew Myerson and Julie Anne Kelly participated in the New York City Golden Gloves. They decided that competing against the city’s best boxers wasn’t enough, and decided to raise money for cancer research. This planted the seeds for Haymakers for Hope. Today, H4H gives everyday people the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete in their first sanctioned boxing event. The experience is impactful, challenging, and life-changing, and the march towards a cure will continue long after the last match of the night. Not every fight ends at the bell.
Ryan Polun is fighting on November 18th on behalf of his wife’s family. The beneficiaries of his fundraising efforts will be the GameChanger Charity. Read more about Ryans story here.
“GameChanger Charity is a fantastic organization – led by the wonderful Jim Carol – whose mission is to raise awareness for hospitalized children and their families. Take it from me… the GameChanger story is one to follow, and I look forward to putting the full weight of my network in support of their efforts.”
Now, go donate. Buy some tickets… and Ryan will see everyone on November 18th at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
